WATCH RIDER1991 RW01 BLACK GOLD MS/BL

New colors of the model RW01 BLACK GOLD MS/BL from the first collection of Ukrainian designer watches RIDER1991 made by ZAVOD.

It was developed in collaboration with Ukrainian designers Nazar Malets and Roman Heviuk. 

This watch is dedicated to the idea of ​​free movement of true riders on their journey through time. It draws inspiration from the Café Racer motorcycle aesthetics and culture of the late 60s.

The name RIDER1991 consists of a word and a number, similar to the approach to the name of most famous motorcycles. RIDER is an independent traveler, of any social status or age, eager for adventure and victory. 1991 is the year of Ukraine's independence, the time of unification and the beginning of the free movement in history.

The main design accent is a winding crown with the diamond-shaped notches, reminiscent of a motorcycle throttle. The crown is located at the position of 2 o’clock and recessed into the case. It is aesthetically pleasing and allows the wrist to move freely.

The inner ring with IP coating in rose gold brightens the black matte dial. The minimalistic design of the dial resembles the speedometer in some particular details. The BDP GeLLY font was used to write the Arabic numerals 6,7,8,9 symmetrically opposite the minute scale. That authentic type of font can be found on the license plates of motorcycles and cars from the 60s and 70s.

There are three hands in the HMS watch. Two white hands are for hours and minutes. The rose gold hand is the third and the thinnest one. It shows the seconds and matches the inner ring of the dial. 

The reliable Japanese quartz caliber Miyota GL30 is responsible for accurate time reading. The high-quality mineral glass with sapphire coating provides the proper protection.

The robust case with a diameter of 42 mm is made of 316L stainless steel with the matte black finish. The black Milanese bracelet completes the watch RW01 BLACK GOLD MS/BL. The mesh strap is comfortable to wear and easy to change.

Although the watch is water resistant to accidental splashes, it is better to avoid direct contact with water, especially under high pressure. Don’t test the watch deliberately. After all, RIDER1991 is not about diving or waterproofing.

The phrase DESIGNED IN UKRAINE is engraved on the back cover of the watch to emphasize the Ukrainian origin.
